On this, my first safari, I was fortunate to see all of the impressive, and at times illusive,  "Big 5" on the drive from the airport to the first base camp  (lion, leopard, elephant, rhinocerous and buffalo).   It could only go uphill from there...and it did.  Each day surpassed the previous one, culminating in witnessing the migration of thousands of wildebeests.

I apologize for multiple photographs of the same animal, as it was difficult to choose my favorite from each category.  I will let you see them in different settings and with different expressions- and then you can decide on your favorite.
