My visit to Kenya and Tanzania in 2009 was so memorable that  I returned to Africa in 2011 and in 2013.  The last two trips were to the countries of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

After each visit I would say,  "That was definitely my last trip to Africa".   However,  once I have settled in back home and have forgotten about the jet lag and the two days of grueling airplane rides halfway across the world, I am ready to make plans for my next trip to the Dark Continent.  Africa has gotten into my blood in a way I could not have imagined before going on safari there.

It is an honor to be able to observe the animals in their natural habitats.  Enjoy my paintings of them, and see if you can recognize the inspiration for many of these paintings in the photgraphs that follow.
